James Dean Rebel Without A Cause Vintage 1985 Elegante Dolls

This mint condition James Dean doll is listed as used because it was manufactured in, I believe, 1985, but has been preserved and is in excellent condition. No scratches etc and the clothing material is fantastic.  He 's wearing the red jacket with the collar up making him the personification of "cool" in cinamatic history. The jacket zipper is functional. It stands almost 17.5 inches high and about 6 inches wide at its widest point.  The stand is included.  Original tag with it--"Elegante Dolls By Dakin" and reverse side has the facial image of James Dean.   It's a great depiction of James Dean's character--troubled teenager Jim Stark in the iconic movie "Rebel Without a Cause"   This would be a great display piece for any Hollywood movie nostalgia fan or particularly a James Dean fan.  James Dean became the definition of "cool" way back in the 1950s.  Tragic that his life ended so soon in a car accident.  Just a fantastic doll reflecting a the iconic character he played and the actor he became.  Buyer will be very happy with this particular piece of Hollywood nostalgia.  Would also make a great gift to that special someone in your life who is a big movie nostalgia fan.
